Reports to: Group Lead Volunteer

The Perception Team shapes how Beeston sees us, and the lead sets the course. You’ll coordinate a small team of specialists — social media, website, newsletters and more — so our story reaches the right people.

What you’ll do

  • Set a simple communications plan: what we say, where we say it and who we’re talking to.
  • Coordinate team members and their specialisms, so channels stay active without burning anyone out.
  • Be our brand guardian — keep everything on-brand and in the Scouts tone of voice: grounded, colourful, human.
  • Own the photo and media permissions process, keeping young people safe in what we share.
  • Support recruitment campaigns for young people and volunteers, with the GLV and Events Lead.
  • Work with the Technology Lead on the website and digital tools behind the scenes.

Every adult role includes a friendly welcome conversation, a DBS check and free training — and a team that’s got your back.
