When you join Scouts, you’ll be introduced to lots of new activities, people and things. Find out more about Scouts and what to expect.
In cold months (typically September to Easter) 2nd Beeston Scouts meet between 19:30 and 21:00 on Friday evenings at our Lilac Grove HQ. In warmer months (typically Easter to September) the Scouts meet at around 18:15 at Beeston Marina and head over to our Barton Island base.

You don’t need a uniform to join. But once you’ve settled in, you’ll start speedily earning badges, and you’ll need to know where to put them! As we are a Sea Scout group, our uniform is a little different to other Scout troops.

All of our leaders are trained volunteers – working to make sure Scouting is safe, inclusive, and accessible. Some lead the Troop week in and week out. Others visit occasionally to help run a session or drop in to share their skills. No matter how much time you have to spare, find out about volunteering on your own terms.
