Reports to: Beavers Team Leader
Beavers are busy, curious and up for anything. You’ll help run sessions where six-to-eight-year-olds try things for the first time — from toasting marshmallows to their first night away.
What you’ll do
- Help plan and run a lively programme of games, badges, trips and outdoor adventures.
- Help Beavers earn badges and work towards their Chief Scout’s Bronze Award.
- Support first sleepovers and camps — small adventures that feel enormous at six.
- Welcome families, share what their children have been up to, and help new Beavers settle in.
- Keep sessions safe and inclusive, following our safeguarding code and risk assessments.
- Work as a team — planning together, mucking in together.
Every adult role includes a friendly welcome conversation, a DBS check and free training — and a team that’s got your back.
