Beeston Race Night 2021
The event was held in October 2021 with over 50 people in attendance. This is an annual event around this time of year where supporters of the group along with friends and family gather together for a night at the races. We raised a whopping £2200 at the event which is going towards the cost of training our adult volunteers. Watch the race night from 2019
Plant Show 2021
On a fine Saturday afternoon in June 2nd Beeston welcomed the local community to Lilac Grove HQ where we had an impressive range of flowers, vegetables, indoor plants and shrubs for sale grown by parents and committee members of the group. We also received donations of plants from members of the community.
Picnic in the Park 2019
In Summer 2019, we took over Dovecote Lane Park in Beeston and hosted a fun event for the local community. The event marked 90 years of 2nd Beeston Sea Scouts. We hope to host a similar event in the future. Watch our featured video of Picnic in the Park
Firewalking 2022
In September 2022, our members and supporters took part in a Fire walking event which raised over £2000 for our group!

2nd Beeston Sea Scouts are able to claim Gift Aid on any monies donated by you. Providing you are a UK taxpayer, giving your declaration to allow us to claim Gift Aid, means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give, and it will not cost you a penny!
This is free money the group can claim towards the cost of things like new equipment for young people to use. This scheme could be worth thousands of pounds of free money each year, which would benefit us massively.
