We are looking for someone to join our Trustee Board as a Treasurer.
You would be joining our professional Treasurer Team which comprises a corporate finance specialist and a former banking worker. There will be lots of support and an opportunity to learn from very experienced colleagues. Eventually you will be replacing one of the current team.
This could be anyone a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or a neighbour. Anyone who has the interest of the Group at heart
It would be great if you had some or even all of the following:
· Good knowledge of Excel
· Accounts/finance experience
· Use of Internet banking
· Time to deal with day-to-day payments
· Can work with others
· Previous charitable experience
This role can fit easily into a busy life without too much disruption and the role is predominantly home based.
A Treasurer would be part of our board of trustees so the person holding this position would need to attend a meeting held every 3rd Wednesday, on a bi-monthly basis.
Due to the nature of the role and for the protection of our young people you would need to agree to a DBS check before we could appoint you.
With the Treasurer role, there are four short E-learning courses to complete which is a mandatory requirement of The Scout Association.
