We have recently signed an extended lease for our Lilac Grove site with Broxtowe Borough Council. Group trustees Peter Treagus, Morgan Field and Leigh Silvester were pleased to sign the lease at the Beeston Office of Ellis-Fermor and Negus.
The new thirty year lease was negotiated with the help of councillor Shaun Dannheimer and with legal advice provided by Ellis-Fermor and Negus. This lease will put us in a much stronger position to apply for capital funding from various bodies to replace the current HQ building. We have an ambitious plan to replace the current seventy year old building with a modern energy efficient one that will provide an accessible facility. This will create a fantastic space for our young people to engage with a wide range of activities. In addition this will also provide a space to support various community groups to make use of.
More information about the new building and is available.
