On 21st September 2022, we hosted a firewalking challenge to raise funds for our new building.
The firewalking itself will be run by experts from BLAZE — a team with over 30 years experience.
Why do we want a new building? We have been at our current site on Lilac Grove for over 60 years, as has the crumbling building that is still in use today.
Our current building is nearly at the stage where it is not fit for purpose for our young people. Bricks are crumbling, the roof is leaking, and it is pretty much unsustainable for us to keep repairing. The new building will be state-of-the-art, and a valuable resource to the community.
