The usual routine for joining is to make contact with relevant Leader, and then try it out for a few weeks to see if works for you

Joining- who can join
Girls and Boys aged 6 to 8, Can join Beavers.

Contact a Beaver Leader

Girls and Boys aged 8 to 10 and a half,  can join Cubs.                       

Contact Sue Wales Akela

Girls and Boys aged between 10 and a half and 14 can join the Sea Scouts.       

Contact Graham Johnson the  Scout Leader.
 

Young people aged 14-18 can join the Explorers.                                            

Contact Puggy The Explorer Leader

If over 18 we are always looking for more Leaders and supporters, and up to 25 they are part of the Network.

Cost of Scouting

Costs vary according to the activities concerned, and the cost to Scouts is under regular review- the current level can be checked with the Group Scout Leader. We do run additional activities and camps many are paid for individually on top of this subscription.
 

Beaver Subs are 18 per term (3 times a year)

Cubs Subs are £18 per term (3 times a year)

Scout Subs are £9 a month.

Explorers subs are currently £8 per month (as it is part of the District).

The Group is dependent on contributions to supplement this and any support is welcome.
