The Sea Scout necker is worn in a different fashion from other Scouts.
The guide below illustrates how to prepare it.
Lay the necker so the emblem is facing down and iron flat
Fold it so the long edge runs across the halfway point of the emblem. Iron flat.
Fold the top edge down so it lines up with the long edge. Iron flat.
Repeat fold the top edge down so it lines up with the long edge. Iron flat.
Turn the scarf over so the emblem is face up. If this has worked well the only gold colour showing is on the ends and the middle portion of the necker.
Sea Scouts tie their neckers using a Discovery knot. We hope to have a video soon on how to tie it.
