All Scout Groups carry out fund raising to provide the money to cover cost such as building maintenance, utility bills as well as buying equipment for scouting activities such as equipment for games, camping etc.
In addition to normal Scouting costs, our group also hast the costs of maintaining the Barton Island facility, powered boats, kayaks, canoes and other equipment for water based activities.
Fundraising is important for us to maintain all these wonderful facilities and provide equipment for the exciting programme of activities that all sections enjoy.
