About Us

2nd Beeston Sea Scouts were formed in 1928 and has had close links with Beeston Parish Church – which gives its name to the Group.

Based on Lilac Grove in Beeston, and with their own Water Activity Centre located on Barton Island in the River Trent (opposite Attenborough Nature Reserve, the Group is uniquely placed to offer a wide range of adventurous activites for young people (boys and girls) aged 6 – 18.

As well as a beaver, Cub and Scout section, the Group is linked to Discovery Explorer Scout Unit (for young people aged 14 – 18).
